TikTok and Disney team up to launch 'Disney100' content hub

On the occasion of Disney's 100th anniversary, TikTok and Disney have joined forces to unveil the 'Disney100' hub, a dedicated content space on TikTok that promises a wealth of engaging experiences for Disney enthusiasts.

This limited-time initiative offers fans a chance to delve into a variety of activities, including viewing curated video clips from Disney's extensive catalog, crafting personalized videos with Disney music and effects, participating in daily Disney trivia, and collecting digital character cards within the app.

As part of this collaboration, Disney has become a TikTok Pulse Premiere publisher partner, enabling marketers to showcase their ads in secure slots alongside Disney's entertainment and sports content. This move aligns Disney with prominent publishers like NBCU, Condé Nast, DotDash Meredith, and BuzzFeed, providing a safe environment for brands to display their advertisements.


The initiative, launched on October 16th 2023, offers TikTok users an exclusive interactive space where the enchanting world of Disney converges with the creativity and passion of its fans. Asad Ayaz, Chief Brand Officer of The Walt Disney Company, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting TikTok's status as a central hub for Disney fans worldwide.


Featuring the active participation of over 48 Disney-related accounts, this four-week activation spans 24 regions globally, showcasing the diverse content offerings from The Walt Disney Company. Fans of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, ESPN, National Geographic, and Disney Parks can anticipate daily doses of nostalgia, reminding them why they fell in love with their favorite characters, franchises, and Disney memories.


On TikTok, Disney aficionados find a unique platform where they can connect and express their creativity, whether celebrating classic films, Marvel superheroes, or recent hits like Encanto. With over 150 million followers across various Disney-operated TikTok accounts, the shared Disney experience thrives through entertaining and insightful videos, capturing the essence of beloved Disney brands.
